NZSA Sessional – Review Version of the Interim Solvency Standard

The new standard will apply from early 2023 and introduces a number of features that are new in the New Zealand context (although previously foreshadowed in the consultation paper and July 2021 draft) and may require insurers to modify some of their systems and processes.

The sessional meeting will feature a presentation by the Reserve Bank, with a view to discussing the updates included in the recently released version of the standard.  There will also be ample opportunity to raise questions generated by the document.
