SUMMARY:NZSA Sessional - Modernising the NZSA
DESCRIPTION:The NZSA would like to invite you to a sessional to discuss Council’s proposed plan to modernise the NZSA. We are hosting two in-person events in both Auckland and Wellington to provide you an opportunity to have your say. \nThe proposed changes will be circulated to members prior to the first sessional. The proposal\, if implemented\, will have some significant impacts and will require a number of rule changes. This will be the first sessional as part of a wider consultation process\, which will comprise sessional meetings and opportunities for written submissions. \nThere will be opportunity to refine a number of the elements proposed to ensure that what is implemented is how you would like the NZSA to move forward. We hope that these sessionals will be interactive and foster good discussion between members. \nThe final proposal needs to be supported by at least 75% of attendees at the AGM (or SGM) to implement any rule changes.
