DESCRIPTION:Join us for a virtual sessional meeting via Zoom to provide feedback on the draft submission on the IPSA Review Omnibus Consultation recently released by RBNZ  \n\n\n\n    \n        \n            The NZSA would like to invite you to a virtual sessional meeting via Zoom to provide feedback on the draft submission on the IPSA Review Omnibus Consultation recently released by RBNZ. \nThe draft submission is being prepared by a working group on behalf of NZSA. The consultation summarises RBNZ’s current proposals following their previous four consultations. It covers a range of important topics including the scope of IPSA\, treatment of overseas’ insurers\, solvency\, policyholder security\, the role of directors and the appointed actuary\, disclosure\, supervisory powers\, enforcement\, penalties and distress management. \nThe working group would encourage Members to attend the meeting and provide feedback on the draft submission. Members are also welcome to provide their views\, prior to the meeting\, by sending an email to: submissions@actuaries.org.nz by 5pm on 10th November. \nDate: Wednesday 15 November 2023\nTime: 12.00pm – 1.30pm \nPlease register before COB 10 November.
