Appointed Actuaries Forum 25 March: Preparing for IPSA, FCRs, and Emerging Standards – Register Now (for AAs and delegates)
March 25 at 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
We’re delighted to invite you to the first AA Forum event for 2026 for AAs and their NZSA-member delegates.
This forum will have a particular focus on the upcoming IPSA changes and subsequent RBNZ Standards. These are likely to dramatically impact FCRs and introduce new requirements such as own-risk solvency assessments. This is an important session to start understanding and influencing these changes. We’ll also hold a panel discussion on professional development, judgement and ethics for AAs and aspiring AAs – and hold a Q&A on current issues and emerging challenges. This is a ticketed event with a small registration fee.
When: Wednesday 25 March, NZT 11am-2pm
Where: Online (Zoom)
Who: This is for AAs and delegates
The agenda will cover:
– Key points on the IPSA amendments and exposure draft
– Update on NZSA’s IPSA response
– RBNZ led discussion on Financial Condition Reports (FCRs):
Short-term: RBNZ response to the forum feedback around FCRs
Longer-term: likely direction under IPSA and feedback sought
– Panel discussion – exploring professional development, judgement, and ethics
– Hot topics – current issues and emerging challenges
Each of the sessions is designed to be interactive and will include opportunity for Q&A and discussion.
We’ll also send a calendar invitation shortly. Register now – we look forward to seeing you there.
