We are excited to announce the launch of our 2025-26 NZSA Mentoring Programme, inspired by the positive response in our recent membership survey. This initiative aims to foster connections between experienced professionals and those earlier in their actuarial careers, providing valuable guidance and support.
The programme will run from December 2025 to November 2026, with a couple of scheduled check-in points for mentors and mentee pairings.
Mentoring Programme Overview:
- Purpose: To create meaningful mentorship relationships that support professional development.
- How to Participate: Express your interest in becoming a mentor or mentee by completing a short form
- Deadline for Responses: Friday 14 November
- Next Steps: We will match mentors and mentees based on the information provided and notify you of your pairing in late November. We’ll do our best to find a match, noting it will depend on expressions of interest received from potential mentors and mentees.
We’ll also reach out to those who also provided their names and expression of interest in the recent membership survey.
